Great pants for this price. They are just thick enough without being too hot while doing Tae Kwon Do. They wash great and come out of the dryer ready to be worn. My son and i are both happy with them. the size chart was accurate in choosing the correct size too.
The pants are cheap, but exactly what I needed – for the money, its a great value. Plus, the company that sold them through Amazon was exceptionally helpful with my order.

Who should buy the medium weight uniform? Anyone looking for a nice upgrade to the cheap do balk/Gi most classes provide, but still have a light enough uniform to train in.
These Century medium weight pants are a great upgrade to the semi transparent “student” pants. They feel heavy without being to abrasive or restricting. The elastic waist band is wide enough so it doesn’t roll down down my waste as I train, but there is no flexibility in the waist size. If you are on the heavy side the uniform won’t stretch over a large belly, get a slightly larger size than you need and hem the legs. High quality material and well made.
I loved this item. Sizes were exactly as stated. I actually like these pants better than what they sell at the karate studio where my grandson goes. I definitely plan on buying more as we need them.

Piranha Gear Karate Gi Pants (super heavy weight), Black, 5
These are the same black cotton pants made for our extra heavy weight karate gi. It’s made of long-strand 14 oz 100% brushed cotton canvas so it’s much softer than traditional heavy canvas uniforms.
We had these made with a stable black dye to avoid all but the slightest running during the first washes. However, it will show “character” after the first wash, so if you want something that will stay “coal black” forever, you can’t go with 100% cotton. We’d recommend a cotton/poly uniform instead.
The pants have a traditional drawstring waist, reinforced groin, and heavy stitching throughout to ensure years of performance.
We were tired of the drawstrings calling it quits before the uniform. So these drawstrings are made of the same heavy material as the pants (but quadruple folded) so they last much longer. We also have a nylon lining put inside the drawstring “tunnel” of the pants. That makes tightening them much easier – especially when they get sweaty.
These are NOT intended for beginning students and we’d suggest you consider a light weight version before investing in a pair of these – only because they are cheaper (and you’ll get spoiled with these). But if you’re looking for that nice, clean “pop”, these will definitely work for you.

The description of this item led me to believe that there was no elastic waistband, since it only mentioned drawstring. However, there is a wide and tight elastic band, held by 4 rows of stitchs. If you don’t want an elastic waist band, don’t order!

I bought some heavey weight pants from here via amazon, tthe mailman tried to deliver today, i wasnt here however they require extra money for this item, now thet want to hit me for another £11.75, i paid rather alot in postage already. Now apart from taking ages to get here in the first place [rowing boat was it!] now extra money!! If id of known this i wouldnt of bothered in the fist place GET A GRIP!!!!!!!
